Alyssa Holster (she/they) is a pre-licensed professional counselor practicing under the supervision of Dr. Michael Keil, who works primarily with adults. Passionate about expanding access to counseling within diverse communities, they use an integrative, person-centered approach in their work with clients. Alyssa is particularly interested in working with individuals experiencing symptoms of anxiety, depression, and LGBTQIA+ issues.
Their practice is rooted in a multicultural, feminist, and trauma-informed approach that respects each client’s unique story and strengths. Alyssa earned her master’s degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from the University of Oklahoma. She welcomes the chance to engage with clients, helping them to understand and overcome anxiety, stress, life transitions, depression, gender identity, disability identity, and grief/loss on their path to personal growth.
